How do I get a tutor?
SciSmart is a primer science tutoring company that specializes in tutoring students in STEM subjects from K through college. Tutoring is done by one to one interactions, group or online sessions. Tutoring is usually done at your home, a nearby library or school. Give us a call and let us know how we can help you.

How does SciSmart work?
SciSmart tutors are either teachers or researchers in the science field. You can get tutoring in math, physics, chemistry, biology and even reading if need. Tutoring can also be done in both english and spanish.

What can I get help with?
What's the minimum time to work with a tutor?
The minimum amount of time is 1 hour. However, we find that meeting for a minimum of 3 hours per week leads to faster progress. Also, please review our monthly plans which offer substantial savings.

Our tutors will prepare and email progress reports after each session with comments acknowledging weaknesses as well as corrective actions that will be followed on subsequent sessions.
How will I know how I am doing?
We aim to please. Your tutor will work with you from day 1 until you decide that tutoring is no longer needed. We find that building rapport is important to the tutor-student relationship.
